Metroplex has been proudly owned and operated by the Streeter family since 1975, marking 50 years of dedication. The owners are present on-site nearly every day, and you are warmly encouraged to approach them with any questions, concerns, or general feedback. Being a family-run operation allows the Streeter family to direct their focus towards the facility and its staff—an advantage that is hard to find in other gyms across Texas.

HISTORY OF METROPLEX GYMNASTICS
Metroplex Gymnastics was established in the summer of 1975 by Sandy and Allen Streeter. When they opened their doors 50 years ago, Sandy and Allen were parents to four children ranging from just 6 months to 5 years old. Today, all four have matured and contributed to the family business. The Streeter family, including their four children and nine grandchildren, resides in Allen. In 2009, their son Bryan and his wife Beth assumed leadership of Metroplex Gymnastics & Swim. The Streeters have devoted their lives to educating children through movement. They take immense pride in the business they cherish. It’s been a long journey since 1975, and they've gained valuable insights along the way. A business that has thrived for so long clearly must be doing something right.
Bryan and Beth are excited to announce that a second location will be opening in Celina, TX towards the end of 2025.
