WEEKLY SWIM CLASS SCHEDULE

 

2 WEEK SWIM SESSIONS (8 CLASSES IN 2 WEEKS)

(Monday - Thursday for 2 weeks)


DIAPER DOLPHINS6 MONTHS - 35 MONTHS

Parent and Me Class where your child gets comfortable in the water while doing fun songs and aquatic activities that will increase confidence while babies learn to submerge under the water.

MINNOWSAGE 2 1/2 - 3 YEARS

Introduction to water without parent in water (3 kids per class) This will be the first time your little minnow will be with a teacher while you watch from outside the water. This is a very exciting level of lessons as your child learns to enter the water, kick a distance of five feet and exit the pool independently. They are introduced to rollover breathing, mastering the safety skills of a standing jump in to the water, to turn & swim to side of pool and hold on to the deck.

SHARKS LEVEL 1 BEGINNERAGE 4 - 5 YEARS

Students that cannot swim The goal for this class is to teach your child how kick through the water for 5 – 10 feet, submerge under water for 10 seconds and to float. Classes are kept small with a maximum of four students to a single teacher. This level is designed to get children comfortable in the water. In the beginning, we will focuses on blowing bubbles and progressing to submerge their body underwater. In this level your child will learn how to kick on both their back and stomach with assistance from instructor. We will also introduce roll over breathing with assistance. .

SHARKS LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATEAGE 4 - 5 YEARS

Had swim lessons before but not ready to swim alone Students’ progress to kicking through the water for 15 feet and start to work on rollover breathing and using their arms. In these levels we will work with them to swim on their stomachs for 10ft unassisted. We will incorporate how to streamline kick on their stomach for approximately 5ft.

SHARKS LEVEL 3: ADVANCED AGE 4 - 5 YEARS

Knows how to swim, needs more work to safe Students will learn to swim 20 feet while using multiple independent front and rolling breaths, while using freestyle arms. Students will start to work on their backstroke. Swimmer will learn how to streamline on their back while working to reaching 20ft on their stomach. They will also learn how to backstroke unassisted. We strive to teach swimming on their stomach with roll over breathing, freestyle arms up to 10 feet and dolphin kicks.

WHALES LEVEL 1 BEGINNER AGE 6 YEARS & UP
