Metroplex Swimming Lessons Allen, Texas At Metroplex Swim, we believe that everyone will find enjoyment and achieve higher self-esteem from learning to swim. All ages and swim levels are welcome. We specialize in working with students who have a fear of water. We turn fear into fun! Having fun while learning to swim is a major role in becoming a better swimmer.

History of Metroplex Swim

Metroplex Swim was founded in 1982 by the owners of Metroplex Gymnastics, Sandy and Allen Streeter. After years of providing swim lessons in their backyard pool, Sandy and Allen decided to add Metroplex Swim to Metroplex Gym and expanded to a state of the art, outdoor, heated pool facility in 2001. In 2008, the pool at Metroplex was enclosed and heated to enable us to provide swim lessons year-round!

Our indoor heated pool is kept at 92 degrees-year round to keep our students comfortable while learning.

Viewing Area

Our surrounding viewing area provides a cool, dry place for parents and spectators to watch their young swimmers hard at work. But always feel free to come inside the pool area to take pictures! This area also provides a safe place for little ones not enrolled in our classes yet to be out of harms way, that way you can focus your attention on your young swimmer.
