Metroplex Swim School

Metroplex Swim was founded in 1982 by the owners of Metroplex Gymnastics, Sandy and Allen Streeter. After years of swimming lessons in their backyard pool, Metroplex Swim expanded to a state of the art, outdoor, heated pool facility in 2001. At Metroplex Swim, we believe that everyone will find enjoyment and achieve higher self-esteem from "Learning to Swim". All ages and swim levels are welcome. We specialize in working with students who have a fear of water. We turn fear into fun! Having fun while" Learning to Swim" is a major role in becoming a better swimmer.

DIAPER DOLPHINS
(Red  6-36 Months, Parent and Child class)
Parent & Child work together in a water environment, building a foundation that will contribute to the learning of swimming skills, as the children grow older. By using songs, games, and colorful water toys, our Swim Instructors introduce basic water skills, floating, breath control and gentle underwater submersions. Parent & child learn water safety skills and other special challenges dealing with the water. A fun, positive and safe environment provides an opportunity for child and adult to play and learn together.
