The Streeter Family
Metroplex Gymnastics opened its doors the summer of 1975 by Sandy and Allen Streeter. At the time The Streeters had 4 children between the ages of 5 years and 6 months. Allen was tragically taken from us in a car accident, October 6, 2005. He was honored by GAT September, 2007 with a Life Member Award. Today all 4 children are grown and are involved in the family business. Sandy, along with all her 4 children and 7 grandchildren live in Allen. The Streeters have dedicated their lives to educating children through the sport of Gymnastics, Swimming, Tumbling, Preschool, and Summer Camps. Much pride is taken by the Streeters in the businuss they love. -55 years gymnastics experience -Former competitive gymnast - Dallas Athletic Club -1959 USA National Tumbling champion -Texas Gymnastics Hall of Fame inductee 1993 -Started Tumbling Texans (Mesquite) 1963 -Opened Metroplex Gymnastics 1975 -Former coach of several US National Champions -Head of Delegation US gymnastics team - China, Mexico, France, Great Britain, Canada -Married to Allen 37 years, together they have 3 daughters - Paige, Shea Lyn and Sharla & a son, Bryan - Altogether she has 7 Grandchildren 
Bryan Streeter - 13 Years at Metroplex
Head Team Coach/Owner - Texas A&M University - Sports Management - Girls head team coach at Metroplex since 1995 - International elite coach since 2001 - Coached USA gymnasts internationally - Beijing, London, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, Shanghai - Coach of Multiple TOPS national team members - Coach of multiple state, region, and national champions - USA Gymnastics Professional Member - Meet Director Certified - CPR/First Aid Certified, USAG Safety Certified - Married to Beth 6 years, together they have a daughter, Morgan & a son, Rylan 
Sharla Streeter Gant - 11 Years at Metroplex
Academic Preschool Director / Teacher & Swim Instructor / Owner - Texas A&M University - Early Childhood Education Degree - 3 years Pre-K teacher Hockaday Private School - 4 years Allen ISD, 1st grade Storey Elementary - US Swim School Infant / Toddler Swim Instructor Certified - CPR / First Aid Certified - Married to Lance 7 years, together have 2 sons, Caleb & Carson 
Shea Lyn Streeter Steger - 13 years at Metroplex
Assistant to the President / Owner - LSU & SLU - Lower Elementary Education Degree - Former International Elite Gymnast - Full Ride Gymnastics Scholarship LSU - Cross Country Track Scholarship SLU - Former State , Regional Champion - Married to Richard 11 years, together they have 2 sons, Dustin & Jackson, & a daughter Jaycie (named after Olympian Jaycie Phelps)
